WithIt, a women’s networking group for members of the home furnishings industry, has selected its slate of officers for 2013, including a new president, Betty Lyn Eller, vice president of the home division at marketing firm IMRE.
“Being involved in WithIt is an investment in your success and your professional future. This is your organization and it’s up to you to get involved and see the return on your investment,” Eller said.
Two mattress industry members—both vice presidents of sales at Thomasville, N.C.-based Wright Global Graphic Solutions—were named to board posts. Cindy Williams was appointed secretary and Kim Grubb was selected as vice president of membership.
Other leaders of the WithIt board include Mary Leigh Howell of Howell Communications, chairwoman of the board of governors; Julia Rosien, Social North, chairwoman; Violette Forman, Havertys Furniture, vice president/president-elect; and Peg Whitehurst, Norwalk Furniture, treasurer. The group also announced a raft of vice presidents and committee chairs. Sara Lyke remains WithIt’s executive director and Amy VanDorp is membership/media manager.
