Sealy ramps up 2013 TV advertising, adds new retailer tools

At the winter Las Vegas Market, Trinity, N.C.-based mattress major Sealy announced it would launch new national TV spots for 2013 in support of its revamped Hybrid Series, Gel Series and Classic Series beds. The first commercial educates consumers about the benefits of a true hybrid mattress—in support of the new Hybrid Collection. The second TV spot focuses on the company’s marketing campaign, “Whatever you do in bed, Sealy supports it”.

Sealy also rolled out improved Web-based support for retailers that includes new digital creative, mobile apps, social media and search engine optimization tools. The mattress maker has created what it calls “Grade A B-roll”—video footage with high production values of Sealy products and features for retailers to use in advertising and in-store.

New point-of-sale materials include versatile mobiles and signage as well as attractive component demonstration units in clear Lucite boxes.
