In an agreement with Denver-based manufacturer Denver Mattress, Lippert Components Inc., headquartered in Goshen, Ind., has obtained exclusive distribution rights to the recreational vehicle and horse trailer segments. Under the agreement, LCI warehouses and distributes specific Denver Mattress products to manufacturers of RVs and horse trailers.
“This allows us to provide our (original equipment manufacturers) a residential mattress with a well-known, recognizable brand name,” said Ryan Smith, vice president of Lippert Interior Group.
Consumer Reports has rated Denver Mattress as one of the top five mattress brands based on reader satisfaction scores.
LCI said its partnership with Denver Mattress is in response to recent RV industry trends toward offering “residential-style furniture with high name recognition” as original equipment.
