PureCare by Fabrictech has appointed James Robb vice president and general manager, a new position for the Fairfield, N.J.-based supplier of bed protection products and pillows.

Robb is responsible for focusing on the company’s key infrastructure needs and upgrading systems to better serve its customer base. He reports to Jeff Bergman, president and chief operating officer, and Arnold Hershbain, chairman and chief executive officer.

Robb is a retail veteran with extensive experience in consumer goods management and retail operations. He has held key management positions with the former retail chains Jordan Marsh & Co. and Lechmere. While with Dick’s Sporting Goods, Robb created and managed a program that grew into the official LPGA product catalog and included retail stores, a website and 24-hour call center.

“James brings years of best practices in operational management and entrepreneurial experience that will positively affect the entire organization,” Bergman said. “He is here to ensure that PureCare by Fabrictech’s operational expertise keeps pace with our explosive growth and that we continue to provide our customers with the kind of service they expect from an industry leader. James’ passion and hands-on approach will be an enormous asset to our growing all-star team.”
