Simmons, Westin team up for donation

Atlanta-based mattress major Simmons Bedding Co. partnered with Westin Hotels & Resorts in April to donate 29 Westin Heavenly Beds manufactured by Simmons to a Los Angeles fire station. The giveaway was part of Westin’s April campaign to “Make Monday Better” for hundreds of deserving individuals across the country. The beds, accompanied by a visit from television and film actor Emmanuelle Chriqui, surprised firefighters at the La Cañada Flintridge fire station.

“Some of the world’s most important, influential people have laid their head to rest on our Heavenly Bed and we feel it’s time these hard-working, dedicated firefighters do the same,” said Steve Tipton, Simmons hospitality vice president.
