Lexington, Ky.-based Tempur-Pedic International has supplied mattresses, bed bases—including the Tempur-Ergo System Premier adjustable base—and pillows to the HGTV 2013 Smart Home. Formerly the Green Home program, the HGTV Smart Home is an annual high-tech home giveaway sponsored by the cable network. This year’s smart home is in Jacksonville, Fla. The home is both energy efficient and equipped with “smart home technology” that allows homeowners to control and monitor appliances, heating and cooling, lighting and other systems.
