Spring Air adds hybrid Sleep Sense to Back Supporter lineup

Hybrid Sleep Sense joins Spring Air’s Back Supporter lineup.

As part of a year-long celebration of the flagship Back Supporter brand, mattress licensing group Spring Air International will introduce a hybrid Back Supporter collection and launch a retail promotion for several Back Supporter value models, at the Las Vegas Market July 29-Aug.2.

In its B-1126 showroom at the World Market Center, Spring Air has planned demonstrations that illustrate the difference in pressure relief between patented Back Supporter multilevel coils and conventional coils.

“This market we’re focusing on the ‘Ultimate Back Supporter’—our Sleep Sense line—on validating the superior performance of its design and on accelerating the traffic, sales and profits of retailers that promote and sell Back Supporter products,” said Rick Robinson, Spring Air president.

The Sleep Sense hybrid collection will retail from $799 to $1,799 in queen. It includes five models containing proprietary, multilevel wrapped coils. The beds use combinations of latex, gel memory foams and premium polyurethane foams in the recessed zones of the coil cores. Each bed has a gel memory foam layer near the surface of the bed.

The Sleep Sense hybrid beds leverage Wright Global Graphic Solutions’ RetaiLive program, which uses image-recognition technology to enable consumers to access an animated Sleep Sense video on their smartphone or tablet.

In Las Vegas, Spring Air also will continue a Back Supporter Mega Sale on three flagship models and a Spring Air promotional bed. The beds are priced aggressively from $399 to $799.

“Although this is designed as an in-and-out promotion, many dealers are making permanent placements of these Back Supporter models,” Robinson said. “Consumer recognition of the Spring Air brand, combined with the strong value pricing and hard-hitting support materials developed for the Mega Sale have already generated a lot of retailer interest and success with the event.”

The event’s promotional elements include a complete top-of-bed program, retail ad elements, in-store signage and posters, plus outdoor standees.
