On July 30, Protect-A-Bed launched the Summer Dreamin’ sweepstakes, a contest to promote the importance of a healthy, comfortable sleep environment. The Chicago-based supplier of bedding protection products is encouraging the public to visit the contest’s Facebook page through Aug. 16 to share details about their craziest dreams. Participants answer a few questions and post 200 words about a recent unusual dream.
All who enter are eligible to win a $1,000 grand prize toward a dream vacation, a Protect-A-Bed Signature Series pillow protector, a copy of dream expert Lauri Loewenberg’s book, Dream on It: Unlock Your Dreams, Change Your Life, as well as a 30-minute dream analysis session with Loewenberg. The public will vote on a grand prize winner who will be announced Aug. 21.
“During the summer many factors lead to less sleep, including higher temperatures, more daylight and all the fun outside activities, which leads to changes in the sleep routine,” said James Bell, Protect-A-Bed chief executive officer. “We’re excited to find out what kind of dreams people are experiencing this summer.”
