Englander Northwest taps Mullinax

Mattress licensing group Englander, which has headquarters in Olive Branch, Miss., announced that mattress industry veteran Ken Mullinax has joined Englander Northwest in Tualatin, Ore., as vice president of sales and marketing. He reports to John Hagglund, Englander Northwest president.

Mullinax has 37 years of combined experience in bedding and home furnishing retailing and manufacturing. Before joining Englander, he owned 24 sleep shops in Washington state and Idaho, which sold to Sleep Train in late 2011. Prior to that, Mullinax held executive sales management posts with Serta. He also was vice president of sales for the former Spring Air Co. and began his career as a furniture buyer for JCPenney.
