Atlanta Attachment has announced the upcoming retirement of Bob Paust on Dec. 31. Paust, who has 21 years with the Lawrenceville, Ga.-based machinery supplier, rose through the ranks to become vice president of sales. He joined Atlanta Attachment after a dozen years in sales with industrial sewing machinery supplier Adler America.

Atlanta Attachment credits Paust with helping spearhead its diversification into mattress industry machinery. [The company attended its first ISPA Expo as an exhibitor in 2002.]

Paust’s understanding of the sewn products industry and ability to assist customers in making good business decisions proved invaluable, said Atlanta Attachment President Hank Little, adding, “Bob will truly be missed as an integral part of the AAC Sales team.”

During his career in international machinery sales, Paust traveled throughout North America, South America and Europe.

Paust said he looks forward to relaxing at home, visiting with new granddaughter Emma and riding his Harley.
