Wow!–I am amazed at the number of introductions and new sleep product exhibitors at Las Vegas Market this week. In fact, the news in mattress halls is voluminous, the tone is upbeat [although the jury is still out on traffic numbers and orders written] and I can safely say this is the most product-filled bedding show I’ve seen in the last 11 Las Vegas Markets, since the start of the Great Recession.
Traffic counts and orders written? We’ll see.
As for product trends, here’s a cryptic hint, the mattress industry appears to be going through a new “phase” in its development, one that is particularly “intelligent.” If you want to know what I’m talking about, read full market coverage in next month’s print issues of BedTimes and Sleep Savvy magazines.
