Mattress licensing group King Koil has signed an agreement with SilverRest Sleep Products, based in greater Los Angeles, allowing the regional manufacturer to make and distribute King Koil-branded products in five western states. SilverRest will serve Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada and Utah as King Koil-Southwest.
“We’re very enthused about our new partnership with King Koil-Southwest, which has excellent connections with both grass roots dealers and several notable Top 100 retailers in the West,” said Dave Roberts, King Koil president and chief operating officer. “We’re also very excited about the capabilities of the company and the efficiency of its 60,000-square-foot factory.”
Steve Rovnak is general manager of SilverRest, a family-owned mattress manufacturer founded in the early 1980s. The company cuts its own foam and produces a range of innerspring and specialty mattresses, pillows and toppers, as well as a range of sleep and comfort accessories for home and travel.
A King Koil news release said that SilverRest plans to expand its factory in the near future to accommodate increased demand due to the new licensing arrangement.
