Industry supplier Latex International has appointed John Vinson director of sales for the company’s central U.S. division. Vinson is responsible for working with existing customers to development new programs and strategies, as well as opening new sales channels in the region.
With nearly a decade of experience in the home furnishings industry, Vinson previously was southwest regional territory manager at Flexible Foam Products, a supplier of polyurethane foam components, where he was responsible for developing new regional accounts in Colorado, Missouri, Tennessee and Texas. He also was a member of Flexible Foam’s research & development team.
“The addition of John on our team is part of our process of putting more seasoned sales leaders in front our clients to forge closer, more strategic relationships,” said David Fisher, Latex International president and chief executive officer. “He has a great track record of working with his clients to develop new and exciting products and programs, and we know our clients will benefit tremendously from his experience.
Vinson is based in Madisonville, La., and reports to Jeff Gober, vice president of western sales.
