Jennifer Baldwin
Buying group BrandSource has promoted Jennifer Baldwin to the new position director of marketing and member communications. Previously, she was national sales manager for the Tustin, California-based company’s Expert Warehouse division.
BrandSource said Baldwin’s promotion to the new role is part of a plan to boost marketing efforts across the board.
Baldwin is responsible for managing advertising and marketing initiatives, organizing special events and directing internal communications. She also is tasked with directing social media efforts, including posting content on Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube and company websites. In addition, she manages conventions, flagship events, regional sales meetings, mixers and fundraisers.
“Jennifer is a dedicated, consummate professional with a lot of energy,” said Jim Ristow, BrandSource chief executive officer. “Over the years, she’s demonstrated tremendous skill in terms of organizational leadership and I’m confident that she’s the perfect person to help our members increase both sales and profitability.”
Commenting on her promotion, Baldwin said, “I look forward to helping our members grow and thrive. It’s critical to keep pace with the constantly evolving digital landscape, but we can’t underestimate the importance of connecting face to face. We plan to host more regional events in order to support our members and make them feel truly connected to the BrandSource family. Baldwin reports to John White, BrandSource chief marketing officer.
