Mattress maker Kingsdown Inc., with headquarters in Mebane, North Carolina, was recognized by the North Carolina Chamber of Commerce at its 2015 Manufacturing Summit on June 4. The mattress maker earned an honorable mention in the annual Manufacturer of the Year competition.
The award honors leading small, midsize and large manufacturers in the state. A panel of manufacturing experts evaluated nominees based on growth, innovation and job creation.
