Mattress major Serta Simmons Bedding LLC has hired Timothy Love and Brittney Cooper to serve in communications roles for the Atlanta-based Simmons and Beautyrest brands.
Love joins the mattress maker as marketing communications manager and is responsible for overseeing the strategic implementation of the “Get Your Beautyrest” brand campaign, focusing primarily on public relations. He has 10 years of communications experience in fields including health care and consumer marketing. He most recently was marketing communications coordinator at DeKalb Medical.

Cooper has been named media and digital marketing director for Simmons.
In the role, she is responsible for creating and executing effective media marketing—including paid media (both online and offline), website design, social platforms, and mobile and digital initiatives—to expand the Beautyrest and Simmons brands. She also is responsible for driving customer integration with key retailers for Simmons and its brands. Additionally, Cooper leads overall digital strategy and execution of all online and offline media efforts, including key corporate initiatives in paid consumer advertising, brand websites, content marketing, and mobile and social platforms.
Cooper most recently served as digital marketing director for Haverty Furniture Companies. She also has marketing experience in the hospitality and finance sectors.
“Brittney’s digital leadership experience and home furnishings background have given her unique insight into how to leverage all facets of media to connect consumers with our brands. In the short time that she’s been at Simmons, our Beauty-rest social, digital and media campaigns have already yielded an uptick in consumer engagement and brand awareness,” Montgomery said.
Both Love and Cooper report to Montgomery.
