Mattress e-tailer Amerisleep redesigns its collection.
Online retailer Amerisleep has revamped its lineup of memory foam beds with updated components and covers and added one new model. The 14-inch Independence has the tallest profile in the Scottsdale, Arizona-based company’s six-bed lineup, and a layer of highly responsive polyurethane foam—with a feel similar to latex. Its comfort is described as “luxury plush.” Amerisleep retail pricing ranges from $899 to $2,299 in queen. Beds contain combinations of polyurethane foam with bio-based content, reticulated foam for improved airflow and other specialty foams.
The brand’s new aesthetics include a sewn cover with a white waterfall knit panel, contrasting with a swooping taupe border fabric. The sculpted double-knit panel uses Celliant yarns, which are said to aid in temperature regulation and to provide other health benefits.
“We developed this new line with the distinct objective of offering consumers the best in bedding technology at reasonable and competitive price points,” said Firas Kittaneh, Amerisleep chief executive officer. “These refinements expand on the exceptional comfort of our popular memory foam and further respond to consumer demand for cool and responsive mattresses. Innovation has always been at the core of our business since we started and we continually strive to introduce new technologies.”
Firas Kittaneh and brother Moe Kittaneh, along with cofounder Joey Holt, established Amerisleep as an Arizona bricks-and-mortar retailer. In 2007, the trio launched Amerisleep’s online operation.
