Shifman Mattress Co., a manufacturer of two-sided, handmade beds based in Newark, New Jersey, named Ben Willis of Willis Furniture in Virginia Beach, Virginia, as the winner of a mattress give-away contest held during the Spring High Point Market.
Shifman held a random drawing from among 70 entries, and Willis won the chance to select his favorite bed from the entire Shifman lineup. He went for the top of the line, selecting a king-size da Vinci bed from Shifman’s Masters collection. The hand-tufted mattress is paired with an eight-way, hand-tied box spring.
“There’s no question that Ben will enjoy this luxurious mattress set,” said Shifman President Bill Hammer. “These special giveaways are among the many things our company does for its current dealers and prospects. Not only do we have a program that helps to drive business to our retail partners’ stores, but we also like to incorporate fun programs like this for our dealers.”
Willis said he admires Shifman products because of their quality and craftsmanship: “We have found them to be trouble free. … Their products are consistent and reliable.”
