Illinois Sleep Products of Chicago has signed a licensing agreement to manufacture mattresses under the Eclipse International and Eastman House mattress brands.
ISP will serve Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota and Ohio.
“We already have commitments from several new dealers for Eastman House and Eclipse,” said Ed Ciolkocz, ISP president. “We see this as an opportunity to increase our distribution while still offering exclusivity to our key accounts. Eastman House has a great reputation in the Midwest, and the Eclipse chiropractic story is compelling. We definitely like the direction we see Stuart Carlitz taking the brands.”
ISP is the brands’ 40th licensee, serving 55 countries worldwide.
“This is a great time as Eastman House is preparing for its 150th anniversary, a milestone not many brands can tout,” said Stuart Carlitz, Eclipse and Eastman House chief executive officer.
“Ed Ciolkocz is a great operator and a perfect fit for our brands,” he added. “ISP has a 160,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art factory perfectly located to service key customers.”
