US-Mattress adds Aireloom, opens two more stores

US-Mattress homepageUS-Mattress, arguably the first mattress e-tailer when it opened its virtual doors in 2001, has added luxury Aireloom beds from E.S. Kluft & Co. to its mattress lineup, and opened two sleep shops in southeast Michigan. This brings the Brighton, Michigan-based omnichannel retailer’s brick-and-mortar presence to five storefronts.

“Each individually handcrafted Aireloom mattress is a work of art and a perfect embodiment of luxury and quality,” said Joe Nashif, US-Mattress founder, president and chief executive officer. “We’re always striving to offer our customers the most trusted products on the market.”

US-Mattress sells three Aireloom models that use a range of core components, including springs, foam and latex. Beds are available via the Web and at US-Mattress retail stores, along with Beautyrest, Sealy, Serta, Spring Air, Stearns & Foster, Tempur-Pedic and Vispring brands. To assist online shoppers, US-Mattress uses a 10-point Comfort Scale to rate mattresses from firmest to softest.

The company opened its first retail showroom in 2003, but 95% of sales continue to originate online at US-Mattress.com, according to a news release.

“As the retail industry moves in a direction that offers consumers more purchasing channels, we’re responding to that need with two new US-Mattress showrooms that offer customers an unrivaled in-store experience that directly mirrors their online experience,” Nashif added.
