Rob Newcombe has joined Chicago-based Fashion Bed Group, a Leggett & Platt company, as senior vice president of sales and marketing. He reports to John Case, FBG president.
Most recently, Newcombe was senior director of global products for Microban International. Prior to that, he was vice president of sales and business development and vice president of marketing at Vermont Castings.
“Combining the sales and marketing functions will allow us to meet our customers’ product needs and, as importantly, assist them in the sell-through of that product,” Case said. “Rob brings an impressive track record of experience and success to this position. He has effectively set the stage for long-term growth in multiple environments. His combination of strategic and tactical insight will be invaluable to FBG as we continue to drive our fashion and innovation competitive advantages.
