Eupen Foam Products Adds Two New Resilient Mattress Foams

Foamer Eupen Foam Products, a division of Kabelwerk Eupen AG, based in Eupen, Belgium, again has expanded its flexible polyurethane foam product lineup with two grades of firmer foams—Eucafeel HT4540 and EucapurHDS5519.

The company, Eupen Foam, has foam-processing facilities in Belgium, France, Germany and the Netherlands and global distribution, according to a news release.

HT4540 delivers a higher hardness grade to Eupen’s Eucafeel line and is targeted to the manufacture of firm mattress cores in the premium segment. The foam also is more resistant to the effects of UV rays than other foams. Eucafeel foams are available as raw blocks, cores or cut-to-size panels.

With HDS5519, Eupen has created a high-resiliency foam with high density and irregular cell structure, delivering a superior level of conforming comfort.

“The new HT4540 foam combines perfectly with the other Eucafeel hardness grades,͟said Pascal Timmerman, Eupen Foam sales manager. ͞It is possible to manufacture both multilayered mattress cores matched with the slightly softer HT4525, as well as complete mattresses, including a topper from particularly soft HT4515 foam. Even the combination with our viscoelastic foams is possible.͟”
