Sleep accessories supplier Protect-A-Bed has promoted Jared Bell to the new post of vice president of corporate strategy and operations, and Miguel Marrero to director of information technology development, also a new position for the Chicago-based company.
Bell has responsibility for managing strategic planning, operations and executing the company vision.
He has been with Protect-A-Bed for five years and in his previous role as sales director he was instrumental in the development and rollout of the company’s latest collections.
He reports to Anneke Chamy, Protect-A-Bed chief financial officer.
“Jared has a proven track record of strong sales and strategic thinking that have helped grow Protect-A-Bed to where we are today,” said James Bell, Protect-A-Bed chief executive officer and Jared’s father. “He will continue to be a tremendous leader for the brand in driving our future company forward.”
Marrero is in charge of devising product-related information technology. He has been with Protect-A-Bed for 10 years and led development of REM-Fit Active, REM-Fit Sleep Monitor and REM-Fit World’s Smartest Pillow. He reports to Warrick Bell, director of marketing and product development.
