Leigh Fibers Promotes Mason to VP

Leigh Fibers logoFiber recycler and supplier Leigh Fibers Inc. has promoted Daniel Mason from director of sales to the newly combined post vice president of sales and purchasing. He reports to Don Bockoven, president and chief operating officer of the Wellford, South Carolina-based company.

Mason joined Leigh in 2005 and has worked his way up through the ranks, while at the same time earning a bachelor’s degree in business and management. His past positions include director of materials and scheduling, director of materials purchasing, sales account executive and business director of Leigh Fibers’ sister company, ICE Recycling LLC. He also holds an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certificate.

“Daniel is uniquely qualified to lead our sales and purchasing efforts since he has been involved with all aspects of quality, manufacturing, sales and purchasing of our products and raw materials,” Bockoven said.

Leigh Fibers is a 100-year-old company that manufactures, trades and reprocesses fibers for a broad range of industries. Its sustainably engineered, branded products and specialty fibers are sold in 25 countries. The company claims to have diverted more than 14 billion pounds of textile waste and byproducts from landfills.
