Dow Chemical Co. brings new formulas to foam conference

Dow Presents Industry Leading Polyurethane Portfolio at CPI 2016 

MIDLAND, Mich. – Sept. 7, 2016 – The Dow Chemical Company (NYSE:DOW) will showcase the latest polyurethane advancements in the industry at the Center for the Polyurethanes Industry’s annual Polyurethanes Technical Conference (CPI) in Baltimore from September 26-28, 2016. At the conference, industry leaders will meet with potential and current customers who seek technical expertise and innovations that improve performance, benefit society and address sustainability around the world.

Additionally, the latest from Dow Polyurethanes ComfortScience technology, VORA Zzz™ Ultra High Airflow and Moisture-Wicking Foam is one of three finalists for the Polyurethane Innovation Award this year. The product helps foamers and brand owners enhance the breathability of mattresses to regulate local temperature and humidity environments throughout the night. The three Polyurethane Innovation Award finalists will present their technologies to attendees during the opening session as part of the final voting process.

Dow Showcases Technical Expertise

Dow will be involved in all aspects of this year’s event, including a plenary speech where Tom Feige, CPI technical conference committee chair and director of strategic initiatives for Dow Polyurethanes, will deliver a vision for the industry and how the role of CPI helps advance innovation and growth. His speech will take place during the Opening Session on Monday, September 26.
