Latex supplier Talalay Global, headquartered in Shelton, Connecticut, teamed up with Louisiana-based retailer All-American Mattress to help flood victims in Louisiana in August.
All-American Mattress has two stores in Gonzales and Zachary, Louisiana, both of which escaped flood damage. Owner Mike Graham had donated mattresses from his stores to the local fire department, and then received shipments of toppers and pillows from Talalay Global for distribution to disaster victims.
“We’re very grateful not only that Mike’s stores were unaffected, but also that he can help direct our donations to people and areas where they’re needed most,” said Kim Fisher, Talalay Global president and chief operating officer.
