Mattress manufacturer Blue Bell Mattress Co., based in East Windsor, Connecticut, has promoted two long-term employees within its sales organization.
Rebecca Gray now is senior vice president of sales and marketing, and Richard Tauber has been named executive vice president of sales.
Previously, Gray was vice president of sales. She joined Blue Bell in 2004 as vice president of business development. In her new role, she oversees and sets the company’s strategic marketing direction.
Tauber, who previously was senior vice president of sales, has been with the company since 2014. Prior to joining Blue Bell, he was director of sales for the Simmons brand. He also has held a variety of management positions, including vice president of sales at Serta and Spring Air. In his new position, he oversees the company’s network of sales representatives.
Each reports to Mark Kolovson, Blue Bell chief executive officer.
“Much of our significant growth over the past couple of years can be attributed to Richard and Rebecca’s diligent work,” Kolovson said. “They’ve built an impressive sales network that continues to make an impact in our marketplace.”
