The Waste-exit system draws manufacturing refuse through a vacuum tube into a holding unit for easy disposal or recycling.

Nearly any mattress manufacturing machine can be retro-fitted to use the vacuum removal system, GSG said in a news release. Trimmings, dust and cut materials are automatically drawn into a vacuum tube that transports this waste from the machine to a centralized collection area.

Automatically removing material waste improves operational efficiency by freeing up factory floor space, removing potential injury hazards, and reducing nonvalue-added cleaning and maintenance procedures during production time, according to the news release.

The addition of Waste-exit to GSG’s slate of offerings will help customers strengthen and improve manufacturing efficiencies, the company said.
