Industry supplier the Jones Family of Companies has named a board of directors. The company has two divisions, Jones Nonwovens and Jones Yarn.

“We decided that the time was right to restructure a governance body as part of our leadership structure dedicated to the organizational health of the Jones Family of Companies,” said Richard Ayers, chief executive officer of the Humboldt, Tennessee-based company.
The board is composed of members of the Jones family, independent directors and management representation. Board members will focus on governance, asset utilization, risk management and contingency planning, the company said in a news release.
In addition to Ayers, board members include Daniel Hatzenbuehler, most recently chair of E. Ritter & Co. and previously CEO of the family-owned agricultural and communications company with operations in Arkansas and Tennessee; Ralph Jones III, executive chair of Jones; Josie Hale Nielson, a former buyer for Kirkland’s Home Decor and a representative of the Jones family; Kathy Roedel, a former GE executive and executive vice president of Select Comfort who serves on the board of directors of Generac Holdings Inc. and who recently served as board chair for the International Sleep Products Association; and William Barnes Thomas, pilot for Monarch Air and a representative of the Jones family.
