Shifman Mattress Co. recognizes top three sellers

Newark, New Jersey-based Shifman Mattress Co. honored three retailers for their success in selling Shifman mattresses, based on volume during the prior year.

Bill Hammer, president of Shifman Mattress, visited each retailer to personally thank the stores for their continued support.

McKay’s Furniture in North Kingstown, Rhode Island, received a Platinum Achievement award. McKay’s has been a Shifman dealer for more than 20 years.

In his comments when accepting the honor, the store’s third-generation owner Kerry McKay said: “We have dealt with multiple bedding lines throughout the years and sold thousands of pieces of bedding. Never before have we had the pleasure of dealing with a firm so committed to the quality of their products as Shifman. This allows McKay’s Furniture to provide our valued customers one of the finest bedding products in the world. McKay’s continues to grow and prosper with Shifman Mattress and looks forward to continuing the outstanding partnership that we have developed.”

Dave Moyer, owner of longtime Shifman retailer Benjamin T. Moyer in Sunbury, Pennsylvania, which earned the Gold Achievement award, said: “We sell more Shifman mattresses than anything else in our store, which gives them the highest GMROI (gross margin return on investment) and sales per square foot than any other vendor in our store. We also receive almost 100% positive feedback from our customers about (their products).”

Gladhill Furniture, a family-owned business in Middletown, Maryland, that has been a Shifman partner for more than five years, received the Silver Achievement award.
