Milwaukee-based factory-direct chain Verlo Mattress has launched Sleepiphany, a boxed mattress that allows the user to adjust the firmness.
The mattress features five different layers, each with its own feel and function, that adjust, combine and integrate, the company said in a news release. Verlo said there are hundreds of possibilities for adjusting the foam layers within the mattress, and adjustability is dual-sided.
“We’ve had a ‘sleepiphany’ that one size does not fit all,” said Kathy Thornton-Bias, president and chief operating officer of Verlo. “Other companies try to make you believe that they have created ‘the’ perfect mattress—but they haven’t. With other mattresses, they make a bed, and you sleep on it. Comfort is extremely personal, so why let someone else define it for you? Our layered mattress features unprecedented adjustability. You should not have to compromise on comfort.”
The five layers in the Sleepiphany are a flex layer of latex for bounce and pressure relief, a chill layer of gel for regulating body temperature and pressure relief, two “dream” layers for support and a tight layer of poly foam for firmness.
Sleepiphany comes in standard twin, twin XL, full, queen, king and Cal king mattress sizes with prices starting at $595. Backed by a 365-night comfort guarantee and Verlo’s 60-year history in the mattress industry, Sleepiphany is available for purchase online. The mattress ships for free in a custom box anywhere in the continental United States.
