Rafz, Switzerland, June 2026. On June 4, 2026, SIMALFA® received the award for its water-based adhesive SIMALFA® 475-SGT (Smart Glue Technology) at the opening ceremony of the second interzum forum italy.
It is the second consecutive recognition: at the first interzum forum italy in 2024, the award went to the debonding adhesive SIMALFA® 365. Both awards to SIMALFA® were presented in the ESG & Sustainability category.
With the SIMALFA® 475-SGT, SIMALFA® shows that high technical performance and low material consumption now go hand in hand. The adhesive delivers immediate green tack on demanding substrates such as viscoelastic foams at coat weights starting from just 20g/sqm. The formulation is entirely chloroprene-free and has the lowest Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) in the SIMALFA® portfolio.
