Adjustable base supplier Customatic Adjustable Bedz, headquartered in Natick, Massachusetts, has named Dan Riley to the newly created position of senior electrical and project engineer.

In his new position, he works closely with Customatic’s engineering team to implement new technologies into the company’s product line. He reports to Robert Eskridge, Customatic vice president and chief engineer.
Prior to joining Customatic, Riley was program manager and senior electrical engineer for Big Ass Solutions for residential and commercial installations. Previously, he was a global products engineer for mattress manufacturer Tempur Sealy International Inc., where he helped develop advanced technology and adjustable bedding products. In addition, Riley held design and engineering positions with Lexmark, Lockheed Martin Astronautics, MacLellan Integrated Services and Texas Instruments.
Commenting on the appointment, Phil Sherman, president of Customatic, said: “We are making major strides in pushing innovation forward in the sleep products arena by developing creative products that help improve people’s sleep, and this step to enhance our design and engineering team is one more step for us to elevate product design.
