Pocket springs supplier Spinks Springs, part of Leeds, England-based Harrison Spinks, has appointed Ian Owen European sales manager, a newly created position designed to support the company’s growth.
Ian Owen joins Spinks Springs after 28 years with Carpenter Co., a global manufacturer of polyurethane foam, where his last role was marketing and strategic sales director.
At Spinks, Owen is tasked with managing sales of Spinks’ pocket springs across the European market, including the United Kingdom. He reports to Darren Marcangelo, commercial director for Spinks Springs.
Commenting on the appointment, Marcangelo said, “Ian’s impressive service at Carpenter has given him a vast knowledge and experience of the market, which makes him the perfect person for this new role.”
