All of those who graduated during the contest period that ended July 24 received a $10 Amazon gift card, their own badge, diploma and name tag. The 1,000th graduate of Geek University received a $100 Amazon gift card.

The free, seven-level professional development course helps retail sales associates and managers gain knowledge of the bedding industry and become a certified Sleep Consultant.

“The success of Sleep Geek and Geek University has been unimaginable, and it’s amazing to think we reached our 1,000th graduate,” said Mark Kinsley, staff vice president of marketing for Leggett & Platt’s Bedding Group and co-host of Sleep Geek’s Dos Marcos podcast. “We certainly want to thank all of our existing Geek University graduates and we’re excited to (celebrate this milestone).”
