As part of its global expansion efforts, Logan, Utah-based sleep accessories supplier Malouf has hired Aaron Womack as sales director of Latin America.
Womack previously developed and managed a business in Mexico that serviced Latin American markets. Fluent in Spanish, he has worked in Costa Rica, Paraguay, Uruguay and Venezuela and has vast experience in country-specific marketing challenges. He previously worked with two successful startup businesses in different industries.
In his new position at Malouf, Womack is responsible for developing and implementing international sales initiatives, with a specific focus on Latin American countries. He leads a sales team focused on growing existing international markets and expanding into others. He joins Trevor Fenton, international sales director, who handles inbound sales at the company’s headquarters.
Womack reports to Mike Douglas, vice president of sales, who said: “We set some hefty goals in growing our presence while increasing our capacity to service all our retail partners, and Aaron is key to our success in meeting those goals. He has an incredible resume with outstanding experience in the international marketplace. It’s a big win to have him on our team, and we’re excited for the success we know he’ll bring for the company.”
