Industry veteran Todd Nechtem, president of international sales and market development for Global Systems Group, retired at the end of June.

Nechtem joined GSG, the machinery division of Carthage, Missouri-based Leggett & Platt, in 1993 after the company’s acquisition of Porter International. Prior to his most recent position, he was involved with GSG sales management in Canada, Latin America and the United States, and was involved in operations management at Porter International.

“Todd has been a great asset for our company, and, more importantly, a great friend to many,” Mike Miller, GSG president, said of Nechtem. “We are grateful for his dedicated service and thank him for the positive impact he has left on this group. We bid him farewell and wish nothing but the best for he and his family.”

Nechtem said, “I’ve enjoyed many great relationships developed through the years in this industry, and that’s what I’ll miss the most — all the fine people.”
