Adjustable bed producer Logicdata, with world headquarters in Deutschlandsberg, Austria, and U.S. headquarters in Grand Rapids, Michigan, has hired industry veteran Michael Nermon as business development specialist to support outside sales in North America.
Nermon founded high-end bedding boutique Ergo Bedroom in 2001, an original idea for its time. He also has a 25-year history in the adjustable base segment, beginning his career at his family’s company Maxwell Products, a power base manufacturer, where he served as vice president of sales and marketing. Nermon also worked for Leggett & Platt Inc. after it acquired Maxwell.
At Logicdata, Nermon works with brick-and-mortar retailers, e-commerce dealers and bedding manufacturers that want to expand their adjustable bed business and engage new channels of distribution.
“I am inspired to be associated with this world-class company,” Nermon said about his new position. “Logicdata’s industry-leading innovations provide a reliable, high-quality e-commerce solution, as well as an affordable base alternative for brick-and-mortar dealers. I look forward to helping retailers and manufacturers meet the challenges of today’s changing marketplace and developing programs that will reinforce their profitability.”
George Hoefler, Logicdata’s business development manager, added: “Michael’s varied industry experience and unique retail IQ adds an important facet in our quest to be the preferred adjustable base supplier in the American bedding industry. We are committed to supporting our business partners at all levels, and Michael’s retailing expertise will be a great asset to our customers.”
