Company’s focus on manufacturing and innovation keeps pipeline of new products strong even through pandemic
COMPTON, Calif. (Aug. 24, 2020) – Despite business disruptions due the pandemic, Diamond Mattress is introducing a variety of boxed bed collections at the Summer Las Vegas Market thanks largely to its long-held strategy of strong product development and innovation, said company president Shaun Pennington.
Diamond will offer retailers at least five bed-in-box collections, from the popular hybrids to all-foam constructions, and featuring natural and organic materials, GOLS certified organic latex, Diamond’s patented zoned and nested coils system, phase-change material (PCM) foams and CoolTouch fabric covers. All new mattresses are handcrafted in the USA, CertiPUR-US certified with a 20-year warranty, and shippable nationwide.
“Diamond’s vertical integration and own coiling operation enable us to ship on time, and this is proving to be a key differentiator among retail partners who are seeing a nice demand for product now,” explained Pennington.
The new Ethos collection is natural and eco-friendly, designed from the inside out with wellness in mind and offers natural latex and organic mattresses with hybrid and all-foam constructions. Two firmness options are offered.
Ethos Natural has an organic cotton fabric cover with a natural look and feel. It is available as 14-inch hybrid with Diamond’s dynamic edge wrapped coil system. Ethos Organic is made of GOLS certified organic latex and has a GOTS wool border, available as an 11” Hybrid and 9” All-Latex Foam options.
Retail price range for Ethos is $1,499-$1,999, queen mattress only.
The brand-new Onyx Ice is cooler, deeper sleep in a box. The 14-inch mattress offered in two firmness options is comprised of multiple layers of graphene- and silver-infused memory foam to regulate temperature and draw heat away from the body for cooler sleep while high-density orthopedic support core layers offer pressure point relief for deeper sleep without tossing and turning. The Cool Touch fabric cover offers added temperature regulation at the contact surface with special conductive yarns that actively move heat through the fiber all night long.
Carbon Ice debuts is a 13.5-inch hybrid mattress constructed of graphite memory and high-density foam layers and the Diamond patented zoned nested coils system, covered with the CoolTouch temperature regulating fabric. It is offered in three firmness options. It retails for $1,299, queen mattress only.
Aspen Cool is a 14-inch mattress that combines natural latex and high-density foam with the patented Diamond zoned nested coils. The supportive natural latex is hypoallergenic, antimicrobial and offers superior breathability in addition to being environmentally friendly. The comfort layers are CertiPUR -US certified and offers proper spinal alignment for lasting comfort that also sleeps cool with additional temperature regulation in the CoolTouch fabric cover. It retails for $1,299, queen mattress only.
Restore Copper is an all-foam collection featuring copper memory foam and CoolTouch temperature regulation fabric cover, available in 12-inch at $899 queen mattress only and 10-inch at $799 queen.
