Licensing group Eclipse International added its 82nd licensee, Salidor, a manufacturer based in Meknes, Morocco. Founded in 1993, Salidor is a mattress, pillow and foam producer with the rights to manufacture and distribute the Eclipse and Eastman House brands in Morocco.
“Salidor is an excellent addition to our licensing group,” said Stuart Carlitz, president and chief executive officer of the North Brunswick, New Jersey-based licensing group. “It is important to our business model that we be present in all corners of the world, and there are plenty of opportunities on the African continent.”
Khalid Sagiri, Salidor general manager, said: “Eclipse’s patents and brand capabilities will help us increase our average price per piece as well as assist us in our efforts to gain market share in this territory.”
