SABA North America has named Jim Gutierrez its new sales manager for the western United States. In this role, he will lead all aspects of business development and account management in the region.
“We are very fortunate to have Jim join our team as he brings a wealth of experience and industry insight to SABA,” said Jim Turner, CEO of SABA NA, with U.S. headquarters in Kimball, Michigan.
Gutierrez spent the past 25 years serving in various sales and management functions in the bedding industry. Most recently, he served as the general manager for Latexco, overseeing sales and operations for its western U.S. location.
“I am very happy to be joining SABA, a leader in the industry for over 80 years, and to be part of a team with such a great reputation, strong customer relationships and commitment to product innovation,” Gutierrez said.
His hiring comes at a time when SABA plans to expand its business and product mix in the United States, launching two new and innovative water-based products in Q1 2023. The company will also continue the growth of its hot melt business, as well as resume product distribution from Southern California.
