Diamond Mattress to Debut at High Point Market

Diamond Mattress Premieres. Diamond Mattress to Debut at High Point Market

Rancho Dominguez, California-based Diamond Mattress will continue its expansion into new markets by showing at the upcoming High Point Market, April 13-17. The family-owned and operated mattress manufacturer will be at the Atrium on Main at 403 S. Main St., Suite 203.

Diamond Mattress CEO Shaun Pennington said the decision to exhibit is a response to “overwhelming demand for our products and Vegas market success,” coupled with the opportunity of shared space with partner supplier Fashion Bed Group.

The company will showcase a curated selection of its most popular products, the exclusive Technogel and the new Auto Pilot smartbed system, along with value lines, Dreamstage and Gel Grid by Diamond Mattress, according to a news release.

Pennington and Diamond Vice President of Sales Patrick Wolf will be on-hand to speak about these and all the company’s offerings, including its marketing support from facilities in California and Texas.

Technogel is a six-bed collection focusing on cooling, with retail price points and margins that allow retailers to drive sales with a “powerful triple threat of value, innovation and quality story,” Pennington said. Marketing support includes point-of-purchase materials with easy-to-understand benefits to help retail sales associates engage customers.

The Auto Pilot smartbed system had a remarkable debut at the Las Vegas Market in January, according to Diamond. The system features patented smart cell, body-sensing technology in eight independently controlled zones. Consumers have responded well to the smartbed, which launched at 37 stores of a Top 100 retailer last fall. Available for private label customers, the system comes with branding and marketing support.

Designed to drive sales, Gel Grid by Diamond Mattress presents retailers with two models of Gel Grid Hybrid and two models of Gel Grid Foam, with boxed bed options and three POP bundles.

The Dreamstage Collection was enthusiastically received by retailers when it debuted last summer for its strong selling story and margins, according to company officials. Suggested retail price points begin at $329 for the entry-level, all-foam queen model and top out at $999 for the euro-top hybrid with a performance cover.
