Champion Thread Company, headquartered in Gastonia, North Carolina, a manufacturer and marketer of textile and sewn products accessories, has selected Grant Spangler to be vice president of manufacturing.
Previously the director of manufacturing, Spangler has been with the company more than 12 years.
“During his years with CTC, Grant has proven to be a key contributor to our growth and success,” said CEO and President Matt Poovey. “Our clients and the entire CTC team benefit from his deep industry experience and dedication to his craft. He is well-deserving of this promotion as he has long played a strategic role in our business.”
In his new role, he will oversee the company’s manufacturing, warehousing, quality and sustainability activities while leveraging technology and elevating the workforce.

Before joining Champion Thread, Spangler served as quality manager and plant manager for Spectrum Dyed Yarns Inc.
