FORT WORTH, Texas, Nov. 5, 2026 – Sleeptronic, a family-owned mattress manufacturer based in Fort Worth, Texas, has named Mark Nelson Vice President of Sales and Business Development.
Nelson brings more than 30 years of experience in the mattress industry across retail and manufacturing. He spent a decade with Sleep Country USA, rising from the sales floor to regional management, and later led sales and operations for Mattress Discounters’ 45 stores in Virginia and Washington, D.C. He co-founded and helped build Sleep Experts into one of the leading bedding retailers in Dallas–Fort Worth, served as chief operating officer of Factory Mattress in Austin and San Antonio, led a division of Future Foam, and most recently was president of Crescent Mattress Manufacturing in Dallas–Fort Worth.
At Sleeptronic, Nelson will lead the company’s independent sales rep team, including coaching, training and territory development, and will drive growth with new and existing retail partners. A first priority is adding sales representation in markets Sleeptronic already delivers to but does not yet fully serve, including Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri and New Mexico.
Sleeptronic also named Anthony Klatt Vice President of Key Accounts and Merchandising. Klatt, who has been with Sleeptronic for 30 years, will continue to lead the company’s key retail accounts, along with product development and merchandising.
