NEWS RELEASE

WOBURN, Massachusetts — Spring Air International, a top U.S. bedding manufacturer and globally recognized consumer brand, is returning to the High Point Market this Fall by showing at The Atrium on Main, 430 S. Main St., Space 205, in conjunction with its licensee Dream Well Mattress.
Spring Air left the High Point Market buildings 20 years ago as interest in the category waned at this event and more buyers attended the Las Vegas Furniture Market, but dealers interested in seeing the Spring Air brand have always had the opportunity to visit Spring Air North Carolina/MattressGrove, its licensee with a manufacturing plant in Greensboro, North Carolina.
“Dream Well has had a showroom at Market for the past two years and they see a decent amount of traffic. They approached us about placing product in their showroom and it made a lot of sense to us,” said Nick Bates, president and chief executive officer of Spring Air International. “We are excited about this opportunity and look forward to welcoming buyers and having them experience our brand. Spring Air represents a special opportunity for an independent mattress or furniture retailer to carry a recognized national brand to help drive traffic, sales and margin. It is very much what many of them need in the current retail environment.”
North Brunswick, New Jersey-based Dream Well Mattress recently signed on as the new licensee for the Mid-Atlantic region, serving retailers in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Delaware and Maryland.
Dream Well is a family-owned mattress manufacturer celebrating its 25th year in business serving independent retailers throughout the Mid-Atlantic region of the country. Founded by Isaac Srour originally in Brooklyn, New York, today they have a 100,000-square-foot warehouse in Central New Jersey employing 40 associates.
They will be flooring six Spring Air models at the show, three of the brands popular Copper mattress collection and three legacy Back Supporter models.
“There is a real appetite on the part of retailers to not only carry independent brands like Dream Well or their own private label, but to also have a well-established national brand. We believe that buy combining our offering –our brand, private label and Spring Air, it is a winning formula for a dealer in today’s tough retail market,” said Dream Well President Maurice Srour.
“We’re pleased to see Spring Air return to the High Point Market after 20 years. Our family has been a Spring Air licensee since 1971, and we’re proud of that longstanding relationship,” said John Grove, co-owner of MattressGrove, Spring Air’s longtime North Carolina manufacturing licensee. “Independent retailers need more than another mattress to put on their showroom floor. They need quality products, a manufacturing partner they can trust, and people they can actually pick up the phone and call. That’s how our family has approached this business for more than 55 years.”
Spring Air North Carolina/MattressGrove’s showroom and manufacturing facility is located at 401 N. Raleigh Street in Greensboro. It will be open during published Market hours.
Spring Air currently has 14 domestic factories and has expanded globally with 19 international licensees across 39 countries. With a legacy built on innovation and craftsmanship, the brand remains a trusted name in sleep solutions, continuously striving to enhance the sleeping experience for customers worldwide.
