Jeff Spitz, vice president of Jomel Industries; Lila Walker, president of Jomel Seams Reasonable; and Phil Iuliano, Jomel Industries chief executive officer, enjoy a celebratory dinner in honor of Jomel’s successful 25 years.

Jomel Industries is celebrating its anniversary this year — the silver one.

Founded in 1993 as a components supplier to the mattress industry, the Hillside, New Jersey-based company has seen continuous growth year over year since its beginning. Founded with only five employees and one plant, Jomel Industries has grown to 125 employees and six plants in Kentucky, New Jersey and North Carolina.

Jomel also has expanded its mission. In 2012, it added the Jomel Seams Reasonable division, and now is a major supplier of cut-and-sewn products, such as mattress covers, pillow covers, topper covers, point-of-purchase items and bedding components. In 2018, it acquired Gold Star Moving Supplies, which makes moving blankets and other moving-related supplies.

“We’re very proud of all the hard work my partners and team have achieved,” said Phil Iuliano, chief executive officer. “We continue to evolve and constantly strive to improve each and every day. We could never have achieved all we have without the support of all our talented team members and loyal customers.”
