Latex and foam supplier Latexco NV, with world headquarters in Tielt, Belgium, is sponsoring the Quick-Step Floors Cycling Team, a World Tour cycling team managed by Patrick Lefevere and based in Wevelgem, Belgium.
In addition to putting the Latexco logo and name on the cycling team jerseys, Latexco also lends logistical support by moving the riders’ personal Latexco Mattresses from hotel to hotel during events.
Latexco shareholder Carole Maes said: “Cycling is our passion, but it also serves to promote our brand around the world, and we are proud to do this together with Quick-Step Floors, with which we have such a special bond. … Sports sponsorship is not ‘just an investment’ for Latexco. It is part of our corporate philosophy.”
