Tim Witherell
Less than one year after his departure, industry sales management and product development veteran Tim Witherell has rejoined supplier HSM in the newly created post vice president and general manager of HSM Bedding Products.
He left the Hickory, North Carolina-based company in January for an executive vice president position with Creative Ticking. Prior to that, Witherell spent six years with HSM in a variety of sales, marketing and product development roles. His background also includes close to a decade in national account management with foamer Nomaco.
During his career with bedding and home furnishings suppliers, Witherell has been named as an inventor on at least seven U.S. patents related to innovations in sleep products assembly.
In his new post at HSM, he is responsible for overseeing product development, manufacturing and sales at five facilities in the company’s Hickory Springs division.
He reports to Michael Hinshaw, HSM chief operating officer.

HSM is a privately held company with more than 30 manufacturing plants in 14 states. Its core business is as a bedding and furniture industry supplier. HSM also supplies customers in the apparel, health care, packaging and transportation sectors.
