SureFit Taps Burbank as CEO

Bob Burbank

SureFit Home Décor LLC, a Wheeling, Illinois-based maker of furniture slipcovers and other protection products, has named Bob Burbank chief executive officer.

He succeeds Jeff Werner, who had been in the role since May 2017.

With a career spanning more than 25 years in
the consumer products sector, Burbank has held senior leadership roles in product development, operations, and sales and marketing at such brands as Burton, Cannondale and G-Form.

“We are pleased to welcome Bob to the SureFit organization, to have him guide the company into its next phase of growth,” said Mayank Singh, managing partner at Centre Lane, SureFit’s parent company. “His years of leadership, category experience and strong customer partnerships are values needed for the next chapter of the 105-year-old SureFit.”

Commenting on his new post, Burbank said: “I am excited to be joining the SureFit team as CEO. Its long history of delivery of best-in-class products and commitment to product innovation are instrumental to its success.”

Burbank is responsible for managing SureFit’s portfolio of brands and building stronger relationships in its customer and supplier base.
