North Brunswick, New Jersey-based Eclipse International has named bedding and home furnishings industry veteran Mark Dentale as director of licensing. With more than 30 years of industry experience, Dentale leads the company’s international and domestic manufacturing and licensing efforts. He is responsible for managing partners and licensees.
Most recently, Dentale was national accounts director for Paramount Sleep, managing sales to retailers such as Bloomingdale’s, Lillian August and Macy’s. Previously, he held vice president of sales positions with Ashley Furniture, Sealy and Simmons Mattress Co.
He reports to Stuart Carlitz, president and chief executive officer of Eclipse International. “We found a strong leader in Mark to help us continue to develop and expand our licensing network. His deep knowledge of sales in our industry will help in growing our manufacturing licensee lineup as we further expand to provide for the needs of our customers,” Carlitz said. “He’s joining a strong leadership team that enables us to keep up with this rapidly changing industry.”
